Agreement and scope
These terms govern use of The MW Desk website, research and listing venue. By using the service or submitting or purchasing a placement, you agree to these Terms, the Listing and Posting Terms when applicable, and the disclosed checkout scope. You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for any organization you represent. Do not use the service where prohibited by law.
Venue, not representative
The MW Desk provides information and a listing/advertising venue. For venue transactions we are not a broker, agent, employer, staffing agency, escrow agent or transaction representative. We do not negotiate or bind parties, employ listed workers, provide accommodations, hold transaction deposits or guarantee counterparties. A separate consulting engagement requires its own written scope and terms and is not created by browsing or a listing.
Accuracy and availability
News may include third-party statements, conditional plans and our interpretation. Listings are supplied by users; we do not verify identity, specifications, credentials, ownership, availability or claims unless a particular check is expressly stated. A stated check is limited to its description and date, not a guarantee. You are responsible for independent diligence, professional advice and your own transactions.
Permitted use and rights
Do not submit unlawful, misleading, infringing or confidential information, scrape private information, bypass access controls, impersonate others, abuse forms or interfere with service. You retain your submission rights and grant us a non-exclusive license to display, format and distribute an approved public listing for the service and agreed promotion; private contact details are not licensed for public resale. You must have all required rights and permissions. Public source links do not transfer the source publisher’s copyright.
Purchases and future products
Only a real configured processor checkout can accept payment. Email preparation and a return URL are not receipts or publication. Scope, duration, taxes, approval requirements and any renewal terms must be disclosed before purchase. Future prices are proposals, not evidence of available inventory, content, entitlements or guaranteed fulfillment. We may suspend unready products; we do not promise uninterrupted availability.
Risk allocation
The service is provided as is and as available to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness, title and non-infringement where lawful. We do not warrant accuracy, safety, legal compliance or suitability of third-party material or listings. Third-party links and payment/provider services have their own terms and risks.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The MW Desk is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages or lost profits, opportunities, data or business arising from use of the service or user transactions. Our aggregate liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the affected service in the preceding 12 months or $100. This does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including applicable fraud, intentional misconduct or other non-waivable rights.
Removal and responsibility
We may refuse, edit for formatting, unpublish or restrict material that violates these terms, creates risk or appears misleading, without endorsing remaining content. To the extent lawful, submitters are responsible for claims arising from their unlawful, infringing or unauthorized submissions and conduct; nothing requires an unlawful waiver of consumer rights.
Colorado law and contact
Colorado law governs, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory applicable protections remain. Subject to any legally required venue, disputes may be brought in courts of competent jurisdiction in Colorado. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive non-waivable rights.
