DAY2GW / DAYS TO GIGAWATT
The clock matters
as much as the megawatts.
Our proposed time-to-power framework tracks the path from a defined commitment to evidenced energization. It is not a published market-wide index yet.
Not yet scored
Insufficient comparable commitment and commercial-operation dates. No synthetic estimate, implied zero, or forecast.Four states. No shortcuts.
- 01
Announced
Intent and proposed scale; not a delivery commitment.
- 02
Contracted
Defined parties, capacity basis, terms and conditions.
- 03
Permitted / under construction
Track actual approvals and works without assuming completion.
- 04
Energized
Sourced service or commercial-operation evidence at a defined load boundary.
What a defensible score needs.
Stable project and phase IDs, explicitly defined IT versus facility versus generation MW, a comparable commitment start date, a sourced energization milestone, delivery conditions and revision history. Elapsed days can be computed for comparable completed phases; a future aggregate must publish its weighting and coverage. No formula, peer ranking or projected completion score is claimed today.
We will not sum generation agreements, utility demand and campus IT-load announcements into one headline capacity total. Unknown remains unknown.
